While nutrition certainly plays an enormous role in our health, we'll also look at areas such as stress management, sleep, movement, creative outlets, social connections, and spirituality.
Most approaches to healthy eating create lists of restrictions or dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. In Holistic Health, I coach my clients to explore the foods that are best suited for their unique biology, beliefs, and sense of joy. We work on what you want to improve within the circumstances of your own unique situation to implement gradual and lasting lifestyle changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, my clients find these changes collectively creating a much larger impact than they originally anticipated.

My health coaching practice is called Vinyasa Wellness because it embodies how I believe we should view and approach our health and our lives. Vinyasa is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning “to arrange something in a special or sacred way”. In the modern physical practice of yoga, Vinyasa refers to connecting breath to movement; or more simply, flow. When we properly nourish all areas of our health, we honor the sacredness of our life, we connect, we breathe full breath, and we Flow.
