Yoga and Meditation

I teach studio classes, hold workshops, facilitate special group events, and provide private yoga and meditation instruction. Meeting each student where they are in their practice, I hold a space of gratitude for our miraculous state of being. Together, let's explore the conscious connection of breath to movement, developing strength, flexibility and balance while we nourish all areas of our mental and spiritual health. 

My Journey

Inspired by the philosophy of yoga, the incredible physical, mental and emotional benefits I was personally seeing from a committed daily practice, and the desire to share my passion for health and healing with others, I made yoga a professional pursuit in 2022.  I attended Yoga Teacher Training with The Kula Collective in an intense and immersive holistic experience, living in the Western highland forests of Guatemala above beautiful Lake Atitlán, earning my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification through The Yoga Alliance.

Additionally, my daily meditation has called me to share this practice as widely as I can. In addition to the spiritual benefits of the pursuit, Meditation is a vital practice to manage stress, bring balance to our nervous system, and allow for all forms of physical and emotional healing. After a couple of years now of continuing study with The YogaMu Institute, I am proud to hold the 500 Hour Certified Meditation Teacher designation under The Meditation Alliance International.

 

With deep respect for the foundations of yoga and the stillness of meditation, I also love movement. I bring a foundation of Hatha Yoga to the mat with a specialty in holistic practices. I love the art of sequence design and the flexibility of working with a wide range of clients, including beginner adults, young athletes, spiritual seekers, and those looking for an advanced and challenging physical practice of power flows. With a deep love for learning and a desire to enhance my practice, I continue to further my yoga/meditation education each day and look forward to sharing it with you.
